Maple Syrup Bottle Turned Into Winter Decor With A Holiday Card
The handle on these maple syrup bottles are so cute. I’ve thrown to many of these into the recycling bin. This is project #2 using pictures from the front of holiday cards. I have a previous blog explaining how I take a lot of the backing off the front cover of the holiday cards I used for these projects. I like to spray the back with water, let it soak in for 2-3 minutes then peel what I can get off by lifting from the corners. Decoupage With A Holiday Card/Make A Beautiful Gift Out Of A Jelly Jar
My previous blog explained how I obtained some of the images I liked from the front of holiday cards I had received this past Christmas. The above image was off of one of those pretty cards. A quick refresh: I spritzed the back of the card with water and let it soak in for 2-3 minutes. Then I peeled and rubbed much of the extra layers of paper off the back of the image. I have always felt that beautiful cards dont belong in the recycling bin. Both of these images are the front half of cards I thought had beautiful artwork on them that I wanted to incorporate in future craft projects. One thing there is an abundance of during the holiday season are beautiful cards. If you love to crafting and decoupaging they can be put to good use and recycled into one of a kind gifts.
