My favorite gifts to give are the ones I make myself. I enjoy personalizing them for the recipient and making something that is functional. In doing so it has encouraged me, over the years, to sharpen my sewing skills and learn new crafts. Using Mod Podge and Fabric to Line Dresser Drawers
I love the way dresser drawers look lined with fabric. It isn’t necessary but its a nice finishing touch. In my previous blog you can see I have been painting a dresser set we no longer need which I plan to sell. I had lined the drawers with contact paper when we had acquired the set. When I decided to refinish it the contact paper was very hard to remove. Getting all of it out without marking up the bottom of the drawers was definitely the most time consuming part of the project.
